When Trystan got home from day care I asked him what he wanted to have for a snack. Inspired by the Wonderpets, he asks for celery. The rest of the ingredients I selected, based on what I think would go well with celery. So here are the ingredients:
I decided to fill one celery stalk with peanut butter, while slicing the other one.
You can actually stop at this step, since it is the “ants on a log” creation posted somewhere else online by another creative parent.
At this time, Trystan walked into the kitchen and so I included him in the decision making process. “Do you want it just like this or do you want me to cut it into little pieces?” to which Trystan replies “Cut it” So I did. Then as I spread the Nutella on the plate as a dip, Trystan says, “Make it into a truck Daddy” I rearrange the slices and come up with this, Diego’s Rescue truck.
And as usual. Enjoy!
Trytsan enjoying his snack and a little blooper moment for Zoey. Yes, I did end up making the same thing for her, which she picked off the raisins and peanut butter, then started finger painting on the plate with the peanut butter and Nutella.
