These all started a long time ago when Trystan was just one year old. I just had an inclination to make things more interesting for him. After the first time around, I developed the habit of trying to see what the different breakfast ingredients wanted to become. There really is no secret, just like cooking, art, engineering or origami, once you know what you can do with certain ingredients, colors, components and materials, or shapes of paper you can make pretty much anything what you have allows. Here are pictures of some of the things that I’ve made, hopefully you can use them for inspiration. As you can see, I am not going for an award for creativeness, they were all made in less than 5 minutes, but with a lifetime’s supply of memories and love.
For those who need more inspiration or direction, we are working on an instructional book. I wouldn’t call it a cook book because in most cases you’re not really cooking anything. So keep an eye out. I will post to this blog once they are available. Feel free to message me or post a comment if you want more information on anything posted here, or if you have a challenge, or if you have an idea and just need help putting it on a plate.
